[guestlist.] ("we," "us," "our") is a Toronto-based events and community company operating under the brand [guestlist.] and its sub-brands including Velvet by [guestlist.] and The Guest Table. By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, attending our events, or joining our community, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services.

All ticket sales are processed through third-party platforms including but not limited to Partiful. By completing a purchase you agree to our Refund Policy in full — all sales are final unless an event is cancelled or postponed by [guestlist.].

We reserve the right to limit ticket quantities, set pricing at our discretion, and offer or withdraw promotional pricing at any time.

Tickets are non-transferable except as outlined in our Refund Policy. Reselling or scalping [guestlist.] tickets is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent removal from our community with no refund.

By attending a [guestlist.] event you agree to:

• Behave respectfully toward all attendees, staff, hosts, and venue personnel.
• Comply with all venue rules and applicable laws.
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that makes other guests feel unsafe or unwelcome.
• Dress in accordance with the event dress code where specified.
• Be of legal drinking age if consuming alcohol at events where alcohol is served.

We reserve the right to remove any attendee from an event at any time for any reason without refund. This includes but is not limited to disruptive behavior, violation of dress code, intoxication, harassment, or misrepresentation of identity.

[guestlist.] events are photographed and filmed for content purposes including social media, marketing materials, and brand documentation.

By attending a [guestlist.] event you grant [guestlist.] a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use your likeness in any photos or videos taken at our events for promotional and marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to be photographed, notify a [guestlist.] team member at the door before entering. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee your likeness will be excluded from all event media.

[guestlist.] operates an invite-based community. Submitting a request for an invite does not guarantee admission to any event or the community. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion without providing a reason.

Membership in the [guestlist.] community is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to revoke community access or event invitations at any time for any reason including but not limited to behavior that does not align with our community values.

[guestlist.] works with brand sponsors and partners at our events. The presence of a sponsor does not constitute an endorsement of their products or services by [guestlist.]. Any disputes with sponsor brands or products are between you and the brand directly.

All content on the [guestlist.] website including but not limited to the logo, brand name, event names, copy, photography, and design is owned by [guestlist.] and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any [guestlist.] brand assets without prior written permission. Requests can be sent to hello@itsguestlist.com.

When interacting with [guestlist.] on social media, through our website, or via email, you agree not to:

• Post or share content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate [guestlist.] or any of its team members.
• Share event details, guest lists, or private community information without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or accounts.
• Use our brand name or assets in any misleading or unauthorized way.

[guestlist.] and its team members are not liable for:

• Personal injury or property damage sustained at events beyond our reasonable control.
• Actions of third-party vendors, sponsors, or venue operators.
• Loss or theft of personal belongings at events.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

You attend [guestlist.] events at your own risk. We take reasonable steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment but cannot guarantee the actions of all individuals present.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [guestlist.], its founders, team members, partners, and sponsors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses including legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct at our events.

Your privacy matters to us. We collect your name and email when you request an invite or purchase a ticket. We use this information to communicate event details, send your welcome letter, and keep you updated on upcoming events. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our website may link to third-party platforms including ticketing services, social media, and sponsor websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party platform. Use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
